There are times, when others are not as careful and diligent as we are. We have been notified by TriZetto Provider Solutions (“TPS”) the claims clearinghouse that our medical software company (Modernizing Medicine) uses, that they have discovered a breach of some information. If you get a letter, then it is possible that some of your information has been breached. The letter will have all of the information that you need, and what steps they are taking to help protect your information after the incident.
TriZetto has reported the breach to the Office for Civil Rights (OCR) at the Department of Health and Human Services as required by law. For completeness’ sake, we have also filed a breach notification with OCR at DHHS.
